We had a busy and exciting season this year and I would like to thank everyone for their help and support. We now have video on our tour page and you will be able to see many different guided adventures that we will be offering.
Our season will kick off in October for the Great Calusa Blueway Festival. We will be at Back Bay in Bokeelia set up doing stories, tours, free kayak demos, guided kayak tours (fishing, history, eco, custom made), kayak races, kayak scavenger hunt, kayak rentals, and on Halloween Night we are planning a costume party (theme time period 1500-1600ad).
This coming season expect to see some changes we are still looking for a permanent location and we will only be offering the big canoe to groups of 10-14 people. We will be offering the big canoe tours in Back Bay and Jug Creek.
John will be still offering a guided walk and demonstrations at the Randell Research Center with or without a kayak paddling tour.
Walk the ancient mounds of the Calusa and hear the original stories put together by John, research gathered from the world’s experts on the Calusa. See a Calusa primitive technology demonstration and hear the stories of the local islands, ghosts, pirates myths and first hand experiences John has had with archaeologist and marine biologist on the ancient mounds of the Calusa. $26 each
Calusa Ghost Tours will still be offering the Matlacha Lunch tour to Bert’s. Paddle from Matlacha Park to Bert’s Bar and Grill for a waterfront lunch. Hear about the ghost of Bert’s and see the beautiful water and wildlife of Matlacha Pass. $30 each

Native Technology seminars at the Wildchild Art Gallery in Matlacha. Learn how to make rope, baskets, clothe and more from the cabbage palm, learn to make latex paint from the strangler fig tree and how to color it, learn to make shell tools (hammer, ax, adze and more), flint napping demonstrations, Calusa pottery making.
